Ogden Heating & Cooling

As I start from humble beginnings, my first case study is for my most loyal client: my brother. He tasked me with creating a brand identity presentation for his aspiring heating and cooling company.

The need for this logo was to convey a sense of reliability and trustworthiness, while having a more “local business” look and feel to it. I started with developing the man through several sketches, using several references I received to help actuate my brother’s vision.

Once rendered on Illustrator, I researched several colours and typefaces that also convey that sense of reliability. We landed on this particular red, which grabs the viewer’s attention and conveys a sense of importance, while the blue we selected highlighted that trustworthiness we’re after.

After everything was collected, it was only a matter of piecing it all together, and experimenting with different variations to maximize its potential.
